For Circus Futures 2006 Billy Alwen, Chloe Dear and Bill Gee worked as producers for the showcases and with the companies chosen to create a unique performance comprising excepts of work available to programme from those put forward. The performances - which took place in the converted listed church managed by Circomedia, The Redgrave Theatre and a Big Top - offered a snapshot of the best contemporary circus performers who are making work in the UK today.  This was a one off opportunity to view the work presented - each showcase was performed only for Circus Futures. 

In total 49 companies or individuals applied to perform in the showcases which will take part during Circus Futures and we would like to thank everyone who did apply. After carefully considering each application, the panel have made their selection.
