FAQ

Q: I would like to perform at the next showcase, what do I do?
A: The deadline for applications will be announced at the end of 2008. To be added to the mailing list please email Kate Hartoch.


Q: What does the delegate fee include?
A: It includes entry to Circus Futures for both days – so that is conference and showcases each day, plus transport to and from the shows, lunch both days, dinner on the Tuesday night and refreshments during the daytime.

Q: Is there anything obvious it does not include?
A: Good question! Accommodation is not included but we have pre-booked rooms which you would need complete a form to have reserved in your name. The hotel will then charge you in advance to hold the room.

Q: What opportunities are there for networking?
A: As well as the obvious tea and lunch breaks, there will be a dinner on Tuesday night and bus journeys around the city!

Q: As a delegate, how will I know who is performing?
A: A full brochure will be available in advance .

Q: What kind of work was considered?
A: Our selection panel are experienced members of the Circus world. They programmed work that had been devised in the UK that is contemporary, innovative and ready to be booked/ tour.  

Q: Where will the showcases be held?
A: Each of the venues is located within Leicester.

Q: What happens after Circus Futures?
A: Circus Futures staff will be available to assist with any programming requirements.
